I believe that language reflects who we are and where we come from. This belief comes from speakers like Ms.Thorton and Ms.Beveridge. They talked about the places they went and where they grew up and the people they spoke to, and because of these things, they became who they were. I think those kinds of things effect all of us. Like with me, my family has taught me to be respectful and formal, especially around adults. On the other hand, my friends have taught me to be silly and casual. It's not like a school lesson, I think its just something you gradually take in.
