I wonder sometimes if certain languages or dialects or means of talking have led to people naming their kids certain things that have consequently traversed time so that now they are not as connected to that original tongue. For example, both my wife and I speak Spanish because our parent only spoke Spanish to us. However now, we almost always speak English to our kids, even though they all have Spanish names. I wonder how it will look a few generations from now?
